Darragh Greene is a two-time Olympian swimmer and is hoping to become a 3-time Olympian by getting a spot on the swimming team for LA in 2028.
Darragh is originally from Longford and has spent most of his life training.He is currently based & training full time on the Gold Coast in Australia. Darragh has represented Team Ireland at every major swimming competition from European & World Championships to the Olympic Games in 2020 and 2024.
For the last 8 years Darragh has trained 2 to 3 times a day at the National Sports Campus in Dublin as a member of the high-performance squad and is am now training in Australia for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic cycle.
He competed in the men’s 100 metre breaststroke at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships. He qualified to represent Ireland at the 2020 Summer Olympics In Tokyo Japan, and at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, France.
Most recently, Darragh has joined forces with EHL Experiences as an official Brand Ambassador. EHL is proud to sponsor and support Darragh on his journey towards Los Angeles 2028 and post the Olympics to support his business career, championing his resilience, and dedication to excellence both in and out of the pool.

EHL is proud to support Darragh Greene as he prepares for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. In the lead-up to his training camp, Darragh is gaining valuable professional experience through opportunities with the Aer Lingus College Football Team during August and with the SAINT Studios team in September.
Beyond athletic preparation, EHL is committed to Darragh’s long-term career development. Padraic O’Kane is providing him with opportunities within the corporate hospitality environment, offering exposure to a variety of roles across different business areas. This experience, combined with ongoing mentorship, will help Darragh build the skills and professional network that will support his transition into new career paths once his athletic journey concludes.
