I started my journey with Round Room (part of the EHL Experiences) working in events, I always found myself really drawn to sustainability. What started as a genuine interest quickly became something I cared deeply about, forming a sustainability committee I was reassured others in the company felt the same way.

A big moment for me was stepping into the role of EHL Events and Sustainability Manager, where I got to take a more hands-on approach to making real changes.

The best part working at EHL has honestly been seeing small ideas turn into real impact whether that’s reducing waste, making better choices, or just getting more people thinking about sustainability in a practical way.

If I had any advice, it would be to stay curious and just go for it. You don’t need to have all the answers the small steps are what actually make the difference.

As I progressed into management and sales roles, I gained valuable experience in leadership, commercial strategy, and operational planning. Today, my role focuses on ensuring our venues operate at the highest standards while supporting teams to deliver outstanding experiences for every guest.

A key influence in my journey has been the mentorship and support of our CEO, Padraic O’Kane, who has consistently encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone and take on new challenges. Often, these opportunities came at moments when I did not realise I needed a change or new direction, and I am incredibly grateful for the trust and belief shown in me throughout my career.

What I enjoy most about working with EHL Experiences is the people and the energy. Every day brings something new, and it’s inspiring to work alongside passionate teams who are dedicated to creating exceptional experiences.

For anyone joining the company, my advice would be to stay open to opportunities, embrace change, and keep learning. EHL Experiences truly offers an environment where you can grow.
