My journey with EHL Experiences began in July 2022, when I joined SOLE Seafood & Grill as a bartender. With just over eight months of industry experience, I was immediately impressed by the high standard of service and the way every member of the team worked together to create an exceptional guest experience. It showed me a side of hospitality that was attentive, refined and distinctive – and made me want to be part of it.

What started as a summer role quickly became a longer-term journey. Alongside my university studies, I continued working part-time with EHL Experiences and completed my mandatory six-month internship across Human Resources and Events Operations. Working behind the scenes gave me a new perspective on the business, while being involved in the 2023 Aer Lingus College Football Classic gave me the opportunity to see first-hand the level of planning, teamwork and attention to detail behind a major event.

What stands out most about my experience with EHL Experiences is the culture of support and encouragement. I was continually encouraged to step outside my comfort zone and take on new challenges. This was especially true when I progressed to The Round Room as an Event Sales Coordinator. Despite having limited commercial experience, the guidance and support of my managers helped me develop new skills, build confidence and gain a deeper understanding of the business.

After spending two years abroad as part of my studies, I returned to The Round Room as an Events Manager. Not only that, but I was also given the opportunity to once again work on the pitch at the Aer Lingus College Football Classic 2026 game which brought back that exhilarating feeling I got to experience before. Coming back to a team I know well, and one that continues to share its knowledge and support, has been one of the most rewarding parts of my career with EHL Experiences.
